Returns

This Returns Policy applies to products ordered through https://ownawear.com from Own a Wear (“we”, “us”, “our”). Because our products are custom-made based on your selected specifications and uploaded content, return eligibility is strictly limited.
1. No Discretionary Returns for Custom-Made Products
All products are manufactured on demand according to your design choices (including artwork, placements, sizing mix, and production specifications). For this reason:
- we do not accept discretionary returns;
- we do not accept returns due to change of mind, preference, resale risk, or ordering error on the customer side; and
- we do not accept returns for minor variations that are normal in textile production and printing.
2. Limited Exception: Verified Production Error Caused by Us
A return, remake, or refund may be considered only if there is a material production defect directly caused by us, such as:
- incorrect size distribution or quantity compared to approved order details;
- wrong print/embroidery placement materially inconsistent with approved specifications;
- significant manufacturing damage or defect present before delivery.
We assess each claim based on objective evidence and approved order records.
3. Non-Returnable Situations
The following are not valid grounds for return unless explicitly agreed in writing:
- subjective dissatisfaction with style, fit preference, or color perception;
- expected variation between screen mockups and physical output;
- issues caused by incorrect files, low-resolution uploads, or inaccurate instructions provided by the customer;
- normal wear, misuse, improper washing, storage, or handling after delivery;
- delays caused by carriers, customs, or events outside our reasonable control.
4. Claim Procedure for Defects
If you believe an item has a production defect caused by us, contact contact@ownawear.com promptly and include:
- order number;
- clear photos/videos showing the issue;
- item counts and affected SKUs/sizes;
- short written explanation of the defect.
Claims submitted without sufficient evidence may be rejected. We may request return shipment of affected goods for inspection where appropriate.
5. Review Window
Defect claims should be submitted as soon as possible after delivery. As a strict default, claims received more than 7 calendar days after confirmed delivery may be rejected unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
6. Remedies (If Claim Is Approved)
If we confirm a defect caused by us, we may choose one or more remedies at our discretion:
- partial or full remake of affected items;
- partial or full refund for affected items only;
- another commercially reasonable corrective measure.
Remedies are limited to the impacted items and do not extend to indirect or consequential losses.
7. Shipping and Handling for Approved Claims
When a claim is approved, return shipping instructions will be provided. Unauthorized or cash-on-delivery returns may be refused.
8. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit non-waivable consumer rights under applicable mandatory law. Where mandatory law grants additional rights, those rights apply.
